Famaas – Justice Through Awareness
FAMAAS was created in loving memory of a young man whose life was taken too soon in Fort Lauderdale in 1996. His murder remains unsolved to this day — a haunting truth that inspired his sister and mother to turn grief into purpose. They founded FAMAAS to shine a light on the epidemic of unsolved murders and support families still waiting for justice.
When a homicide goes cold, the pain doesn’t stop. Families are left in limbo, communities lose trust in justice systems, and potential witnesses stay silent. FAMAAS exists to break that silence — to ensure stories are not forgotten, and families are not left behind.
Unsolved cases leave families without closure and peace.
Raising awareness can help bring new attention and evidence.
Communities impacted by violence deserve answers and healing.
